Who is Duunei for?

The idea to develop the Duunei app came from concerns about the increasing marginalisation and unemployment of young people. Not even summer jobs have been enough for everyone. There was also concern about the need for older people to have help with even the smallest everyday household chores. Not all domestic work requires a vocational qualification or even a business. There is always a need for a helping hand.

Households can help young people by giving them small jobs. They can participate in society by doing rewarding work.

What is Duunei?

The main feature of the Duunei service is to find a helper and a person in need close to each other. The Duunei app always gives the user priority to the nearest location and the location of the phone. You can also search for items using the app’s search function. The most important thing is that people meet. Finding help or work nearby also saves on mobility costs, as you can cycle or even walk. At the same time, transport emissions are reduced.

The Duunei app is for anyone who needs a helping hand and/or is willing to help those in need.

The more users you have, the better your chances of finding a job or getting help.

How does the Duunei service work?

The app has two different bulletin boards, one for employees and one for people who need help. Sign up and create a notification for yourself on your profile page. Your profile will only be visible when you create or reply to an ad. Even then, you will only see your first name, a short description of yourself and, if you wish, a photo. No other information will be shared with other users.

You can post on whichever bulletin board you want, or both, depending on your needs. You can have one ad posted on both boards at a time. The advertisement will remain active on the bulletin board until you remove it from the publications.

The job creator and the people who need help communicate with each other via an in-app chat. When the matching items find each other, the job is locked and closed in the chat.

You can also browse other people’s notifications and send messages to the person you find, without having to make a notification yourself. Please note that posting your own ad greatly improves your chances of being found, as #keywords are added to the ad to make it easier to find.
